RETURNS

We will arrange for the product to be delivered to the shipping address indicated on your order. Our priority is to deliver the products directly to your door as quickly as possible.
We will use reasonable endeavours to deliver products on or before the date for delivery set out in our order confirmation or, if no date is set out in our order confirmation within 7 days of the date of our order confirmation. However, we cannot guarantee delivery by the relevant date. We do however guarantee that unless there are exceptional circumstances all deliveries of products will be dispatched within 7 days of the later of receipt of payment and the date of our order confirmation.
If the email address supplied with your order is valid, we will send a confirmation of shipping, including tracking details where appropriate, once your order has been shipped.
We reserve the right to alter the postage costs on any order, we will however notify you if we do so, before processing your order.
 
RISK AND OWNERSHIP
 
The product will be at your risk from the time of delivery. Ownership of the product will only pass to you upon the later of:
 
- delivery of the product; and
 
- receipt by us of full payment of all sums due in respect of the product/s (including delivery charges).
 
Until ownership of the products has passed to you, you will possess the products as our fiduciary agent and bailee, and if you are a business customer you must store the products separately from other goods and ensure that the products are clearly identifiable as belonging to us. We will be entitled to recover payment for the products even where ownership has not passed to you.
          RETURNS POLICY
We understand that from time to time you may wish to return a product to us.
 
Returns can only be made on prior agreement with OBD2EU. You should return any product to us, using a suitable insured means based on the value of the product. You should retain any receipt confirming the return. If returned products are lost we will not be liable for them. You are responsible for the costs associated with returning the product to us.
 
We have created this 14 day returns policy to enable you to return products to us in appropriate circumstances. This policy does not affect any statutory rights you may have (such as rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013).
 
UNWANTED PRODUCTS - WITHIN 14 DAYS OF DELIVERY
 

The regulations allow you to inspect the product to some extent, as you would be able to in a shop, before deciding whether to keep it. They do NOT entitle you to USE the product.

Where you have no other legal right to return a product and receive a refund or exchange, then you will nonetheless be entitled to return a product to us where:
 
- we receive the returned product within 30 days following the date of purchase of the product
 
- the returned product is unused and otherwise in a condition enabling us to sell the product as new.
 
**WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DOWNLOAD THE DATA FROM THE IN-BUILT DATALOGGERS OF ANY RETURNED DIAGNOSTIC TOOLS, TO CONFIRM THAT THE TOOL HAS NOT BEEN USED.*
 
If any returned product has been used, we have the right to deduct a reasonable amount from the refund to reflect the reduction in resale value of the product. Certain products we supply in sealed bags, to allow them to be inspected as in a shop, while guaranteeing they are not used. If such a product is returned once opened, it will be considered used (even if there is no visible damage) and a reasonable amount from the refund may be deducted to reflect the in resale value of the product. In the case of returned products that cannot be re-sold once they have been used (e.g. DPF Sensors), we have the right to deduct 100% of the product value from the refund, as the product will now have no re-sale value. 
 
- the returned product is complete (returned with all associated items) and otherwise in a condition enabling us to sell the product as new.
 
- the returned product is in its original packaging (with any seal or shrink-wrap intact) and otherwise in a condition enabling us to sell the product as new.
 
- the returned product has any labels still attached, and otherwise in a condition enabling us to sell the product as new.
 
- you comply with the returns procedure set out below; and
 
- none of the exclusions set out below apply.
 
 
RETURNS PROCEDURE
 
In order to take advantage of your rights under this returns policy, you must:
 
- Notify us if you wish to return a product either via post (at return address shown below) or via email.
 
- Ensure that the returned product is sent, via an insured means based on the value of the product.
 
You will be responsible for paying postage costs associated with returns under this policy.
 
 
EXCLUSIONS
 
The following kind of products may not be returned under this policy:
 
- any product made to your specification
- any product made to order
- gift vouchers.
   

UNWANTED PRODUCTS - AFTER 14 DAYS OF DELIVERY

We are not obliged to accept the return of an unwanted product after the 14 day period mandated by the Consumer Contracts Regulations has expired but we can accept returns at our discretion. Contact us to find out if this is possible for your case. Any goods returned must be unopened and in a re-saleable condition and may be subject to a minimum administration and handling fee of 20% of the invoice value. You will be responsible for the cost of safe carriage back to us. Postage and packing costs are non-refundable.

DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE OR FAULTY PRODUCTS

OBD2EU will repair or replace any product that has failed in normal usage as long as the product has been used as intended and does not, on examination, display any signs of misuse. Should we attempt to repair the product and find that no inherent manufacturing fault exists, we will return the product to you and charge you 20% of the product's selling price to cover the cost of the testing process.

If you are dissatisfied with the quality of the product or the product is damaged or wrongly supplied, you must give written notice to OBD2EU  within 7 working days of delivery, we will arrange to refund or replace the product.

Should you need to return a product due to an error on our part, we will exchange or refund the product for you. We will also refund any reasonable associated carriage costs.
